Our CI link tester will likely complain about the anti-crawl behavior of steamdb. Could you instead link to the steam page perhaps?
I would also like to include an anonymous mode steamcmd tutorial for the proton steamvr download, I think it's a good idea to streamline this element knowing the steamvr was pulled from windows initially.
There is no store page, sadly.
I was unable to get
steamcmdto do anything noteworthy on my install with or without Steam itself running. It can likely be used, but I don't have a good way of testing it.In that case we can probably add steamdb.info to the htmltest yaml excluded domains list.

No idea why the test pipeline is looking for an
.xmlfile when all that is included in other directories is.htmlonly like this.I added steamdb to ignore list.
Let's ignore that error, I think it'll clear itself up when the new page published.
I dunno why it's an xml though lol
Lmk when ready to merge.
I don't have much else to add for now until I can get my hands on my 2e (by end of August according to Bigscreen) to test if any of the eyetracking beta features work under Wine/Proton.
I think the easiest solution for now would be to just use an existing install, or temporarily install Windows SteamVR by forcing a compatibility layer, copying the files, and then switching back to Linux SteamVR if the user is not on a system with a dual boot handy.

Until I get my hands on a 2e to play around with seeing if the eyetracking module would send any data to vrcft.avalonia or oscavmgr this'll be done for now. Can always PR in changes.
